Frankfort high school soccer players have been recognized on the 41st District all-tournament teams, with athletes from Frankfort High, The Frankfort Christian Academy, Franklin County, and Western Hills all represented. Frankfort’s boys and girls teams both finished as district runners-up and advanced to the 11th Region tournaments after facing Great Crossing in the finals. (state-journal.com) 
• Kentucky State Police encourage parents to check sex offender registry ahead of Halloween
Frankfort families are being urged by Kentucky State Police to check the online sex offender registry and talk with kids about stranger danger before Halloween night. A Fire Safety Night and trunk-or-treat at Frankfort Regional Medical Center also shared hands-on safety tips, from visibility in costumes to staying close to trusted adults while trick-or-treating.
